Education For Kenya

Education In Kenya

The Kibera Slum in Nairobi, Kenya, is the largest slum in Africa and one of the largest in the world. The high population density, limited resources, and inadequate infrastructure make poverty a perpetual cycle.

Our most powerful tool of empowerment to break that cycle is education.

Unheard Cries is working with on-ground schools to keep education possible for all.

Unheard Cries is funding the Shammah Splendid Centre in Kibera, a non-profit school that is expanding access to all who can't afford a private or public school education.

“We noted that most of the students were hopeless in life because of the vast challenges they were facing. We realized that the only avenue and the key for these students to gain hope in life was by us providing them with quality, reliable, holistic and sustainable education and teaching them the word of God.”
