Solar Panals in Syria

January 23, 2026

In Syria, due to the strenuous economic conditions, reliable access to electricity is limited. Solar panels would help our brothers and sisters in Syria have reliable and sustainable access to electricity that would allow them to store food in their fridges, turn on lights in the dark, stay warm in the winter, and stay cool in the summer. With your help, light was brought back into their home by a solar system that changed everything.

Living Expense Stipend for 7 Gazan Refugges

The war in Gaza, Palestine has forced many families to flee to Cairo in search of safety. Unheard Cries has identified refugee families caring for a child or parent battling cancer. While humanitarian aid covers their medical treatment, they still struggle to afford food, shelter, and basic necessities. By your donations, these families were provided with meals, essential supplies, and financial support, easing their burden so they can focus on fighting cancer one day at a time.

Resiliant Roots

November 6, 2025

In Burin, a village in Nablus, Palestine, illegal settlements have continued to appropriate land and choke the village's water supply since 1982. The ongoing crisis and settler aggression recently saw an entire olive harvest decimated and multiple trees damaged. Together with on-ground farmers, Unheard Cries has worked to plant trees in at-risk land to renew and restore its health. The harvest from the trees will provide additional income to farmers, feed the community, and stand as a symbol of endurance, pride, and a claim to ownership and presence.

Feminine Hygiene Project in Nairobi, Kenya

October 10, 2025

In Nairobi, Kenya, access to menstrual hygiene products is limited, with over 150 girls currently in need of sanitary pads. This lack of access increases girl’s vulnerability to exploitation by men who have these resources. Due to this, teen pregnancies and STIs are more rampant. By your support, women from Shammah Primary & Junior and High School, Charles Lwanga Primary School and Maono High School have received a supply of disposable pads and the education to establish proper personal care and prevent pregnancy and other infectious diseases.

School Repairs in Nairobi, Kenya

September 25, 2025

In Nairobi, Kenya, Isaac Agalo, headmaster of the Shammah Splendid Centre, and his team of teachers, repaired classrooms to facilitate a better learning environment for Kenyan students. The repairs targeted insufficient floors and furniture damages that inhibited sanitary and conductive learning environments for both the students and teachers. By your generosity, the Kenyan classrooms were transformed for a brighter tomorrow.

Education for 3 Students in Upper Egypt

As the school semester is approaching, many families in Upper Egypt are facing economic hardships making affordable education for their children nearly impossible. With your generous donations, Unheard Cries has been able to gift three students to continue their education, alleviating the economic hardship facing their families.

Christmas Food Baskets for Upper Egypt

With the Coptic Christmas coming up, 225 families in Upper Egypt were provided with food baskets of a warm meal to break their fast and nourishment for the winter season by your incredible generosity.

Robes for Tetas and Gidos in Syria

December, 2024

In Syria, elderly individuals face limited access to electricity during the cold winter months. With your help, 90 grandmas & grandpas were able to be clothed with the warmth of robes during the holiday season. Unheard Cries collaborated with the St. Joseph Girl Scouts who spread warmth and love by serving robes to the elderly. A heartfelt thank you to everyone who contributed.

Winter Basketball Tournament in Hebron, Palestine

In Hebron, Palestine, Hebron Hoops hosted a winter basketball tournament– an event designed to inspire, uplift, and bring together our community. It is more than just a game– it's a chance to strengthen skills, build community, and empower our Palestinian youth through sports. With your love, Unheard Cries was able to enroll 90 children into the tournament, experience the joy of competing and growing together, and make their dreams a reality.

Education Project in Maseno, Kenya

In the outskirts of Kenya lies a small rural community in Maseno, full of children longing to complete their education. The seeds that were planted have taken root and are hopeful to bud. By your love and generosity, 20 girls and boys are getting the chance to finish their education and pursue their dream careers.

Founding "Hebron Hoops"

In Hebron, Palestine, many children face severe mental challenges as they live amidst the unwavering restrictions placed on their heads. With the limitation of movement and helicopter soldiers, the youthfulness of our brothers and sisters are being stripped away. Unheard Cries has assembled a co-ed children’s basketball team in Palestine to encourage health outlets and mental resistance, especially in times of war.

Planting 2000 Trees in at risk land in Burin, Nablus, Palestine

Palestine's vibrant culture is intricately intertwined with its land and its trees. Olive trees have sustained Palestinians for thousands of years and serve as an enduring symbol of Palestinian prosperity, resilience, and their historical ties to the land. Unheard Cries is working with on-ground partners to replant 2000 trees. Together with on-ground farmers, we are working to plant trees in at-risk land to renew and restore its health. The harvest from the trees will provide additional income to farmers, feed the community, and stand as a symbol of endurance, pride, and a claim to ownership and presence.

Sponsoring education in the Shammah Splendid Centre in Kenya

The Kibera Slum in Nairobi, Kenya, is the largest slum in Africa and one of the largest in the world. The high population density, limited resources, and inadequate infrastructure make poverty a perpetual cycle. Our most powerful tool of empowerment to break that cycle is education.Unheard Cries is funding the Shammah Splendid Centre in Kibera, a non-profit school that is expanding access to all who can't afford a private or public school education.

Rebuilding houses in Syria in response to the 2023 earthquake

February 6, 2023

On February 6th, a devastating earthquake took from our brothers and sisters in Syria their homes, belongings, and, most devastatingly, their loved ones; the sanctions on Syria took away the hope of help from the outside. Unheard Cries worked with on-ground reps in Latakia and Aleppo to deliver emergency relief in the form of food, medicine, sanitary products, female hygiene products, and baby products.

Funding victims of sexual abuse in Turkey

November 14, 2022

Domestic violence is one of the most pressing social issues in the Middle East, especially in Turkey. Unheard Cries' Turkey team lead interviewed Ms. Yaz–a victim of domestic abuse who courageously left her abuser after the birth of her daughter- and shared her story to raise awareness. In addition, our team lead published a book titled “Domestic Abuse in Turkey.” that highlighted pertinent statistics on the problem. All the proceeds from the book helped our partners at the Purple Roof Foundation buy necessities for victims of sexual abuse.

Funding emergency 500 food kits in Yemen

January 4, 2021

In Yemen, 71-78% of the population are living in poverty and 65% are living in EXTREME poverty. Unheard Cries was able to donate a month’s worth of food for 28 families. Each food aid basket contained 25 kg of flour or wheat, 5 kg of sugar, 5 kg of rice, 2 liters of cooking oil, 1 kg of powdered milk, and 2 kg of dried red lentils.

Filling an entire plane of emergency supplies in response to the Lebanon explosion

August 20, 2020

Unheard Cries managed to secure space on a plane for the survivors of the Beirut explosion, and within 34 hours, we filled 15 large crates with emergency medical supplies. The supplies that we sent included first-aid kits, flashlights, Tylenol, Advil, band-aids, gauze, feminine products (pads/tampons), diapers, baby wipes, loofahs, school supplies, toilet paper, baby bottles, pacifiers, toothbrushes, toothpaste, floss, bars of soap, and much more.

Funding an emergency COVID clinic

March 29, 2020

COVID-19 heavily affected Palestinians, preventing them from having sufficient food, water, shelter, and infrastructure for testing facilities. Some 1.4 million Palestinians, many of which only survived with bare necessities, were now at risk of COVID-19. Through God’s grace and with your support, Unheard Cries raised funds for Palestinians in Gaza who needed medical attention.
