Feminine Hygiene for Kenya
Feminie Hygiene for Kenya
In Nairobi, Kenya, access to menstrual hygiene products is limited, with over 150 girls currently in need of sanitary pads. This lack of access increases girls’ absence during the academic year and vulnerability to exploitation by men who have these resources. Due to this, teen pregnancies and STIs are more rampant.

Unheard Cries is working with Madam Mary of the Shammah faculty to give women adequate education and address the cultural stigma around the menstrual cycle, and give them access to hygiene products!
With your generous donations, women from Shammah Primary & Junior and High School, Charles Lwanga Primary School and Maono High School have received a supply of disposable pads and the education to establish proper personal care and prevent pregnancy and other infectious diseases.
